I was so excited to find a book focusing on young children. This book is packed full of creative ideas, insights and fun stories. The author opens up her life and the life of her family to give real solutions and examples. She covers a wide range of topics such as sibling rivalry, self esteem, discipline, schooling, prayer and praise journals. I have implemented many ideas already. I meet with preschoolers and their moms once a week to focus on prayer and worship. We are learniong to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Hope Flinchbaugh gave me some great insight to teaching this truth and getting it deep into our hearts. We are encouarging the children to be yeiled to the Holy Spirit. It is exciting being part of what God is doing in these children. My greatest desire is to see my children grow in Jesus and be complete in Him. This book is a must read for anyone who has the... It has a great variety of easy to implement, fun, hands-on activities to do with your children. Many of the activities are quick to set up, using common household items. I have two preschoolers who have enjoyed several of the activities listed in the book. They view this time as play time without realizing that they are learning so much.
